Siata 208 S (1954)

This Siata is the 1954 Carrera Panamericana works entry, it was delivered with a defective piston and with no time to fix before the race it was a non starter.

The painfully thin aluminium was further stressed by paint removal from a previous "restoration" with a large linishing disc, however we were able to restress the skin, remove all dents and paint the car in its original colours in nitro cellulose and, as with all our body/paintwork, no filler required.
